Protogen 3D Prints
Section titled “Protogen 3D Prints”The Protogen-3D-Prints repository contains free, 3D-printable STL files for various Protogen head designs.
Available Designs
Section titled “Available Designs”Sigma Protogen
Section titled “Sigma Protogen”The latest design, built-in cooling, printable in TPU, lightweight, and easy to print. Recommended for all new builds.
Epsilon Protogen
Section titled “Epsilon Protogen”The third design release, very hard to print, difficult visor to cut, but all based on visuals.
Delta Protogen
Section titled “Delta Protogen”The second released build, reasonable to print, a bit of a challenge to build.
Beta Protogen
Section titled “Beta Protogen”The first released Protogen build - runs a bit small.
Gamma Protogen
Section titled “Gamma Protogen”A compact design optimized for smaller print beds.
BoxCat WS35 Adapter
Section titled “BoxCat WS35 Adapter”An adapter piece for mounting WS35 LED panels in BoxCat-style heads.
Getting Started
Section titled “Getting Started”-
Clone or download the repository:
Terminal window git clone https://github.com/coelacant1/Protogen-3D-Prints.git -
Navigate to your chosen Protogen variant folder

Import the STL files into your slicer (Cura, PrusaSlicer, etc.)

Configure print settings and slice

Print and assemble!
Printing Recommendations
Section titled “Printing Recommendations”Supports
Section titled “Supports”Most designs require supports - except for the Sigma
Layer Height
Section titled “Layer Height”- Recommended: 0.2mm or finer for smooth curves
- Acceptable: 0.3mm for faster prints with visible layer lines
Infill

File Structure

- Split STL files sized for common print beds
- BOM for each build

STEP Files
Section titled “STEP Files”For those who want to modify or customize the designs, STEP files are available for purchase on the Coela Can’t! Gumroad page.
STEP files allow you to:
- Modify the design in CAD software
- Create custom variants
- Adjust dimensions for fit

Section titled “License”The STL files are provided for personal, non-commercial use. Check each folder for specific license terms.
